Budget 2022: PM eVidya to be expanded from 12 to 200 TV channels
The Union Government launched the PM eVIDYA program. Under this scheme, the top hundred universities of the country started educating students through online education after 30th May 2020.
New Delhi: 'One Class One TV Channel' programme of PM eVidya to be expanded from 12 to 200 TV channels To enable all states to provide supplementary education in regional languages, to children in classes 1 - 12.
In her Budget speech, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, "The 'One class, one TV channel' programme of PM eVIDYA will be expanded from 12 to 200 TV channels. This will enable all states to provide supplementary education in regional languages for classes 1 to 12."

Also, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said Digital University to be set up to provide access to students across the country, to world-class quality universal education, with personalized learning experience University to be built on a network hub and spoke model, with the collaboration of best public Universities.
