CBI Searches Jet Airways Office, Founder's Home In Alleged Bank Fraud Case
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided the old offices of Jet Airways and the residence of its founder Naresh Goyal on Friday, in connection with an alleged bank fraud case involving Canara Bank.
The CBI registered a case against Mr Goyal and others for allegedly defrauding the bank of ₹ 538 crore.
The CBI said that searches were underway at around seven locations in Delhi and Mumbai, including the premises of Jet Airways, Mr Goyal, and some former officials of the airline.
