Commercial cylinders price hiked by Rs 266
LPG price for commercial cylinders has been increased by Rs 266 from Monday onwards. Commercial cylinders of the 19 kg in Delhi will cost Rs 2000.50 from today onwards which was costing Rs 1734 earlier.
New Delhi: LPG price for commercial cylinders has been increased by Rs 266 from Monday onwards. Commercial cylinders of the 19 kg in Delhi will cost Rs 2000.50 from today onwards which was costing Rs 1734 earlier. No increase in domestic LPG cylinders.
The price of the commercial LPG has been revised in various parts of the cities after an increase of Rs 266:
- Mumbai: Rs 1,950 will have to be spent on a commercial gas cylinder of 19 kg
- Delhi: the price has gone up to Rs 2,000, which was earlier Rs 1,735.5
- Kolkata: A 19 kg gas cylinder has become Rs 2,073.50
- Chennai: A 19 kg cylinder will be available for Rs 2,133
Senior Congress leaders Kapil Sibal hit at BJP saying, "BJP minister said income has increased but only their income increased not of public. Fuel, LPG prices have increased.They don't think about poor ppl & only do politics of religion. I hope ppl will throw out this govt& starts it by defeating them in UP 2022 polls".
Following the jump in the prices of LPG commercial cylinders, opposition Congress passed a sarcastic remark on Twitter. "Happy Diwali from the Modi govt".
