Drug case: Anushree consults Advocates in Mumbai

Mangaluru: Following her name resurfaced in the drug trafficking case, Kannada television anchor Anushree left for Mumbai and consulted with lawyers. 

Kishore Aman Shetty, accused number 2, has named Anushree, but CCB police have not mentioned her name in the chargesheet. 

Sources confirmed that Anushree is in Mumbai had consulted with lawyers to avoid her arrest in the case. If the police file an additional chargesheet implicating her in the case, she may get into trouble.

Sources added that police have yielded the pressure to politicians and excluded Anushree's name while submitting the chargesheet to the court. Now she is taking legal advice from her advocates regarding resurface of her name in the case. 

On the other hand, police have discharged accused Tarun Raj in the case; it was stated that to safeguard Anushree, the police also discharged Tarun Raj in the case, sources added. Meanwhile, film distributor Prashant Sambargi demanded the arrest of Anushree and asked police to file an additional chargesheet in the Durg trafficking case.
