Ex-J&K MLC murder case: Delhi police arrests Jammu resident
New Delhi: Delhi Police arrested a person in Jammu in connection with ex J&K MLC Trilochan Singh Wazir's death case. The accused has been identified as Raju as per the Delhi Police, reported news agency ANI.
Prashant Gautam, Addl DCP West, Delhi, "We arrested an accused, Raju in Jammu, involved in death case of ex J&K MLC Trilochan Singh Wazir. He disclosed that 4 persons were present during the incident on 3rd Sept, where Wazir was shot dead. The victim was given sedatives with food".
The two key suspects — transporter Harmeet Singh and Wazir’s friend Harpreet Singh Khalsa, who works with an online news portal — remain absconding.
Last week, Trilochan Singh Wazir, a former member of the erstwhile Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Council, was found dead in a flat in the Basai Darapur area of West Delhi. The decomposed body of 67-year-old Trilochan Singh Wazir was found in a flat in Basai Darapur.
Singh had been missing since September 3. Delhi Police had registered a case under Section 302 (murder) in connection with the death.
