Pakistan based terror module busted by Delhi Police, six held

New Delhi: The Special Cell of Delhi Police claims to cracked a Pakistan-based terror module, detained six terrorists, including two trained by ISI. 

Neeraj Kumar Thakur, Special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell), briefed media that, accused have been identified, Jaan Mohammad Shaikh, Sameer Osama, Moolchand, Zeeshan Qamar, Mohd Abu Bakar, and Mohd Amir Javed, all are Indian National, arrested at Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. The Police Commissioner said that the accused are planned to carry out terror activities in Delhi, Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh, and other states during festive seasons. 

ISI trained Osama and Qamar; they are planning several blasts across the country during Ganesh Chaturthi, Navaratri, and Ramleela. 

Police have said that Anees Ibrahim, brother of Internal terrorist Dawood Ibrahim, reportedly financed terrorists to carry out terror activities in India. Osama and Qamar were taken responsibility for planning blasts in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. These two have taken advanced terror training in the ISI camp in Pakistan. 

Jaan Mohammad Sheikh was arrested near Kota, Rajasthan; he was on a train to Delhi. Osama was detained in Delhi’s Okhla, and Bakar was apprehended in Sarai Kale Khan. Zeeshan was arrested in Allahabad, Javed from Lucknow, and Moolchand from Rae Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. 

Police have sized explosive substances and Italian-made Pistols from the accused. Accused Sameer was taken the task to ensure smooth delivery of improvised explosive devices, sophisticated weapons, and grenades to different entities in India. 

Osama and Zeeshan were met in Muscat, and both have went to Pakistan for training. Both have taken training from Jabbar and Hamza.
