Guru Deshpande pays tribute to Darshan with new film
Bengaluru: G-Cinemas through Guru Deshpande Productions announced its fourth film "Zoo - Care of D Boss" today. 'D Boss' is how fans refer to Sandalwood star Darshan.
Guru Deshpande said that the "film is the story of an eight-year-old who is a die-hard fan of D Boss. His entire life revolves around his love and fanism of Darshan. What happens when the little boy decides to achieve something the star appeals his fans to do is the crux of the story.
What he sets out to achieve is beyond his means and capacity but the boy won't give up. The film in the process also shows what star power can do and how Darshan inspires millions of his fans."

Recently Darshan made a plea to fans to adopt animas in the zoos of Karnataka. Over Rs 3 crore rupees was donated by fans within days.
The special title of the movie as well as a motion-poster was revealed at 11.30 AM. Today is also director Guru Deshpande's birthday.
Guru Deshapnde is the producer and creative head of the film. He has also penned the story of the film. The music is by Manikanth Kadri while Abilash is the cinematographer. The name of the director is yet to be announced. Shooting for the film will commence on August 10.
