KGF producer and ASN hero team-up for Richard Anthony
Putting an end to speculation among Sandalwood fans, popular production house Hombale Films, makers of the KFG films, have announced the title and hero of their new film. The tenth film from the banner is named Richard Anthony and will be written and directed by Kannada star Rakshit Shetty.
The new film takes its name from the character 'Richi' from Ulidavaru Kandante, a modern cult classic released in 2014. Rakshit Shetty directed and starred in the film. This will be his second film as director.

The story of Richard Anthony will revolve around incidents that happen before and after 'Ulidavaru Kandante' Shetty has revealed. The original film was set in the early 1990s. The title teaser of Richard Anthony shows a tombstone for the protagonist, which says he died in 1991. How the character will be revived has set off speculation among fans.
Many of the first film's technical crew like cinematographer Karm Chawla and composer B Ajaneesh Loknath are back in this film.

The teaser also shows an aerial shot of a man swimming across the sea towards a pirate ship, leading fans to surmise that Richie escaped death in the last film.
This is the first collaboration between producer Vijay Kiragandur, who has made big-budget films like KFG and Rajakumara. He is also currently producing Salar, starring Prabhas.
