IMD issues heatwave warnings for next 5 days
Heat Wave conditions in some parts with Severe Heat Wave conditions very likely in isolated pockets over West Rajasthan
New Delhi: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heat wave warnings for the next five days. Heatwave is considered if the maximum temperature of a station reaches at least 40.0C or more for Plains and at least 30.0C or more for Hilly regions.
The seasonal phenomenon is a condition of air temperature which becomes fatal to the human body when exposed.
Warnings for next 5 days:
DAY-1:- Heat Wave conditions in some parts with Severe Heat Wave conditions very likely in isolated pockets over West Rajasthan; Heat Wave to Severe Heat Wave conditions in isolated pockets over Saurashtra-Kutch and Konkan; Heat Wave conditions in isolated pockets over Gujarat Region and West Madhya Pradesh.
DAY-2:- Heat Wave conditions in some parts with Severe Heat Wave conditions very likely in isolated pockets over West Rajasthan; Heat Wave conditions in some pockets over East Rajasthan and in isolated pockets over West Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Konkan and Gujarat state.
DAY-3:- Heat Wave to Severe Heat Wave conditions very likely in isolated pockets over West Rajasthan; Heat Wave conditions in isolated pockets over East Rajasthan, Odisha, Gujarat Region and West Madhya Pradesh.
DAY-4:- Heat Wave conditions likely in isolated pockets over West Rajasthan and Odisha.
