Bengaluru: Mithali Raj led the Indian side to a 107-run victory over archrival Pakistan in their opening match of the 2017 ICC Women's World Cup on Sunday, earning the hearts of millions of Indians. Her team's gesture, however, had won hearts not only in India and Pakistan but also throughout the world.
After the match, a video of Indian women's cricket team players playing with Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof's baby daughter went viral on social media platforms.

In the video, players from both teams can be seen conversing with one another after the game. Members of Team India gathered around Maroof, who was holding and playing with her newborn.
Despite losing wickets at frequent intervals, India elected to bat first after winning the match. India scored 244 runs in 50 overs while Pakistan was bowled out for 137, giving India a 107-run victory.
