Indian student in Kyiv makes frantic requests for help
Kyiv: A panic-stricken Indian student holed up in Kyiv is desperately seeking help from the Indian Government in war-hit Ukraine. The girl is seen crying inconsolably in the video while requesting help.
In the video circulating on social media, Gadwa Mishra from Lucknow is terrified to share details of the plight of the Indian students. She said she is still in Kyiv waiting for help from the Government of India.
She further alleged that Indian Embassy is not taking their calls. Some hooligans try to create ruckus outside the shelter.
She made some terrifying claim that some Indian girls on their way to the Romania border in cabs and taxis were abducted by the Russian Army and had no idea of what happened to boys.
Meanwhile, Foreign Secretary of India is calling in Ambassadors of Russia and Ukraine to reiterate demand for urgent safe passage for Indian nationals who are still in Kharkiv and cities in other conflict zones. Similar action is also being undertaken by our Ambassadors in Russia and Ukraine, said MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi
