Expectation on 'Salaga' is high
The Salaga team has been on top gear ever since the release was confirmed last month. Various promotional activities almost on a daily basis have been put in place.
The promotions for Duniya Vijay's directorial debut Salaga, is in full swing. On Sunday, a pre-release event was held in a star hotel which was attended by some of the top stars and politicians among others.
Gracing the occasion were former Chief Minister Siddramaiah, KPCC president DK Shivakumar and Kannada stars Shivarajkumar, Upendra, Puneeth Rajkumar and others. Vijay and producer KP Sreekanth had managed to put up one of the biggest shows for a pre-release event. The movie is releasing on October 14. The film has Vijay and Dhananjaya in the lead.

Be it the film getting a CBFC certificate or the guestlist for the pre-release event, the film team has managed to make use of it for their promotions. The film will be opening in nearly 300 single screens and nearly 100 multiplex screens across Karnataka for Dasara. The film has bagged an A certificate without any cuts. The film team is happy with that outcome your Vijay justifying it saying the Censor Board not suggesting any cuts is what they wanted.
