Inter-state water disputes, CM will hold meeting with state legal team at Delhi
Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that he will hold a meeting with the state legal team in Delhi regarding inter-state water disputes.
Speaking to reporters at his residence here on Tuesday, Mr. Bommai said that, Advocate General, senior counsels from Karnataka, and legal experts will attend the meeting. The meeting will finalize the road map on pending irrigation projects of the state.
There will be no compromise in state policy on land, water and language subjects, the chief minister said and added that he will visit Delhi on August 26 to meet Union ministers to discuss ongoing developmental projects of the state.
Chief Minister has sought an appointment with the Union Health Minister, Finance minister, Jal Shakti, Agriculture and Defence minister.

Covid expert committee will be continued regarding monitoring Covid cases. The Central Disaster Management committee will visit the state in October to discuss with the state expert team and officials concerned about the management of the covid situation in Karnataka, Mr. Bommai said.
