IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals beat KKR by 44 runs

Pune: Delhi Capitals have returned to the winning track by defeating Kolkata Knight Riders by 44 runs, Delhi registered its second IPL win on Sunday.
Openers Prithvi Shaw and David Warner’s set the highest total on their side by scoring 215 run for five wickets. Both were made half-centuries. On the other hand, KKR were all out for 171 in 19.4 overs and it was left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav who spoils the chance of KKR by taking 4 wickets for 35 runs in four overs.

Pat Cummins who did magic in the previous match by scoring fasted century did not played against DC as Kuldeep's leg break ended his stay in the crease.
Left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed (3/25 in 4 overs) bowled fast and sharp at the onset and at the end Andre Russell (24 off 21 balls) had too much to do with too little time left and the result was a one-sided victory for DC.
Shaw-Warner added 93 to set the platform, Shardul Thakur (29 not out off 11 balls) and Axar Patel (22 off 14 balls) added 49 in just 3.2 overs to finish the innings in style.
