Jarakiholi hints quitting assembly membership
Bengaluru: Former minister Ramesh Jarakiholi, who is making hectic lobby to get into the BSY cabinet has contemplating to resign Assembly membership
The fifth time, Gokak MLA, taken blessings of Suttur pontiff Shivarathi Deshikendra Swamiji, Mr. Jarakiholi said that he will take a call to resign from Assembly membership soon.
The reason is not known for his quitting Assembly membership, but sources in BJP said that it was pressure tactics of Gokak MLA, who engineering in bringing BSY government after taking 16 legislators from Congress and JD(S) to Mumbai.
Mr. Jarakiholi resigned to the BSY cabinet after his alleged involvement in the CD scandal. Trying his best to return the Cabinet. However, BBP central leadership categorically stated that his induction to the Cabinet would only after the disposal of the rape charges against him.
Meanwhile, Mr. Jarakiholi is making a hectic lobby to get into the Cabinet. He also expressed his willingness to resign Assembly membership to field his son.
After meeting Suttur pontiff, Jarakiholi told reporters that there is nothing wrong with asking minister post because I was the one to install the BJP government in the state.
I will ask the minister post for that I will to Mumbai to meet party top leaders. My resignation will be decided in Mumbai. I wanted to resign and will take a call in this regard, he replied.
