Kerala: 5 SDPI workers arrested in BJP leader murder case
Two alleged murders of Kerala BJP OBC Morcha leader and Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) State Secretary have escalated political tension in the Alappuzha district in Kerala.
Alappuzha: Five Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) workers were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the murder of BJP OBC Morcha State Secretary Renjith Sreenivasan. Renjith Sreenivasan was killed in Alappuzha on 19th December.

BJP OBC Morcha State Secretary Renjith Sreenivasan was allegedly killed in Alappuzha on Sunday following the alleged murder of SDPI's KS Shan in Alappuzha district on Saturday.
Advocate Ranjith Sreenivasan had served as Alappuzha district vice-president and mandalam secretary of the BJP. In the 2016 assembly elections, he stood as BJP candidate in Alappuzha constituency and had garnered 18,214 votes.
