Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni’s son Ashish Mishra arrested over alleged killing protesting farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh gets bail.
Allahabad High Court has granted bail to Ashish Mishra. It was alleged that vehicle owned by Ashish Mishra mowed down the protesting farmers which led killing of 8 farmers at spot and 10 injured.
It was alleged that Ashish Mishra allegedly driving the SUV, mowed down the protesting farmers on October 3, 2021. After much hue and cry of the opposition and farmers, the UP police have arrested the son of Union Minister.
Second Chargesheet In Lakhimpur Case, farmers named for killing of BJP men, Courts in Lakhimpur Kheri have rejected bail for him in the past.
The development takes place in the middle of elections in Uttar Pradesh. Lakhimpur will vote in the fourth round of seven-phase elections in UP.
