No 7 days home quarantine for International passengers
Following decrease in Covid and Omicron variant in the Country, the Centre has given relaxation to the passengers coming from abroad.
New Delhi: The Union government has lifted 7 days compulsory quarantine for passengers from abroad, only 14 days self-monitoring for them.
The Union Health Ministry on Thursday revised guidelines for international passengers, removing the category of 'at risk' countries introduced when the Omicron Covid variant emerged. Now Centre has recommended self-monitoring of 14 days against the current seven days of home quarantine.
The new guidelines will come into effect from Monday, February 14, the Union Health Ministry stated in the order.
