Kyiv: Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi posted an image and a video of the installation of 109 strollers arranged in neat rows in Lviv's historic Rynok Square. Ukraine said that so far 109 children were killed in the war. They said the strollers represent harsh tragedy.

"This is the awful cost of war that Ukraine is paying today," said Sadovyi. "We call on all adults around the world to unite as one shield to safeguard Ukrainian children and provide them with a future."

According to federal prosecutors in Ukraine, 109 children have been killed and more than 130 have been injured in the attacks. However, authorities warn that these figures are preliminary, implying that the true toll on children is much higher. It claims that its personnel have been unable to check places where ongoing hostilities are taking place.

The Kyiv region, or province, has the highest number of known child fatalities, with 55 children killed, according to prosecutors. Another 34 people were killed in the Kharkiv region.

According to the prosecution, 439 educational institutions have been damaged or destroyed as a result of bombings and artillery firing. According to the agency, 126 of these structures are in Donetsk.
