MEET THE 100 MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD

This year’s “Most Influential People in the World,” according to Time magazine contributors, include politicians, tech entrepreneurs and business moguls, as well as entertainment execs and stars.
Time senior correspondent Brian Bennett nominated President Trump, arguing that “no other modern president has as forcefully grabbed control of the US government.”
Along with personalities like US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, the chief advisor of the interim government of Bangladesh and the one who spews venom against India, Muhammad Yunus has also found a place in this list. Muhammad Yunus has been given a place in the list of 100 influential personalities of Time magazine after he became the chief advisor of Bangladesh after the coup of Sheikh Hasina due to the revolt of students last year.
Others part of the overall list were singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, former tennis star and entrepreneur Serena Williams, actors Demi Moore, Scarlett Johansson, Blake Lively, Adrien Brody, and musicians Hozier and Yoshiki.
A notable omission this year is the absence of an Indian figure on the prestigious list. Previous editions featured prominent Indian personalities like actor Alia Bhatt and wrestler Sakshi Malik. However, Indian-origin Reshma Kewalramani, CEO of Vertex Pharmaceuticals and a trailblazer in biotechnology, represents the Indian diaspora.
