“Minister’s son supplies saffron-clad to students”, D.K. Shivakumar
KPCC President made a serious allegations against the BJP that party has politicizing the hijab issue in the state.
Bengaluru: KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar made a serious charge that the minister’s son from Shivamogga has distributed saffron shawl to the students in bulk quantity.
Mr. Shivakumar alleged that the minister’s son from Shivamogga has distributed saffron shawl and Peta to the students. BJP workers and leaders are politicizing the issue.
He criticized the BJP for using students to settle their political scores. He advised the BJP not to drag students into politics, Mr. Shivakumar said.
“Let us do politics during elections time, don’t drag students into politics. Why you are creating an unnecessary problem and precipitating the matter”, he questions BJP.
“Bulk quantity of saffron shawl has been ordered from Surat in Gujarath, it has reached all over Karnataka in a short span of time, Congress knew who was behind in procuring saffron shawl. We have our own sources”, Mr. Shivakumar said.
“We have considered the Constitution and National flag as Bhagawadgeeta, Quran, and Bible for us. We will abide by the constitution. Everyone should respect all religions and respect the faith and practice of all religions”, Mr. Shivakumar replied to a question.
