Modi allots portfolios to new ministers
New Delhi: The 43 newly appointed ministers in the Narendra Modi cabinet have been allotted portfolios; Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also hold the newly created Cooperation ministry portfolio.
Narayan Rane will be the Union Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Scale Enterprises. Dr. Veerendra Kumar allotted Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, earlier ministry was headed by Thawar Chand Gehlot, who has been appointed as the Governor of Karnataka.
Another prominent leader Joytiraditya Scindia will head the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Elevated minister Ramachandra Prasad Singh will lead the Ministry of Steel. Kiren Rijiju is the new Union Minister for Law and Justice, earlier it was headed by Ravishankar Prasad. Mansukh Mandaviya has got Minister for Health and Family Welfare and Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers; both ministries was headed by Dr. Harshavardhan and D.V. Sadananda Gowda, respectively. Both were designed to the Union cabinet following their nonperformance.

Anurag Singh Thakur will be the new Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, earlier this ministry was headed by Kiren Rijiju.
Four Ministers from Karnataka gets Ministers of State rank
Rajive Chandrashekar will be the Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology.

Shobha Karandlaje will be the Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
A.Narayanaswamy gets Minister of State for Social justice and Empowerment. Bhagawan Khuba gets Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy and Ministry of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers.
