Belagavi: The state government contemplating implementing the new education policy (NEP) for pre-primary and primary schools from the next academic year.
Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh informed the legislative assembly here on Thursday that the government has decided to implement selected pre-primary schools from the next academic year.
To start NEP in LKG, UKG and Anganadi kendras special training has been given to the teachers, selected schools have been selected for this purpose.
We have decided to provide all necessary infrastructures to the schools to impart NEP to pre-primary schools.
After its success, NEP will be implemented in primary and higher primary schools.
