PM criticizes opposition for 'disrespecting' Parliament
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has slammed the Opposition parties for not allowing the Monsoon session of the Parliament to function.
In BJP MP meeting here on Tuesday, Mr. Modi criticized the opposition parties for not allowing Parliament to function. The repeated adjournments have forced by a vociferous opposition were an insult to Parliament, the constitution, democracy, and the public, the Prime Minister said.
In both the houses, the opposition has not allowed House to function. Members have snatched the paper and tore it is not repentant of his acts; the Prime Minister told his MPs.

He referred to Trinamool MP Shantanu Sen, who snatched IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw's papers when the minister was above to make a statement on the Pegasus row.
The Prime Minister has referred to an objectionable statement by a senior MP regarding the passage of bills - a reference to Trinamool MP Derek O'Brien's "passing laws or making papri chaat?" tweet.
