Puneeth Rajkumar in critical condition, undergoing treatment at Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru
Sandalwood superstar Puneeth Rajkumar has been admitted to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru on Friday. The 46-year-old actor suffered health complication while working out at the gym.
Bengaluru: Sandalwood superstar Puneeth Rajkumar has been admitted to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru on Friday. The 46-year-old actor suffered health complication while working out at the gym.
After the actor felt uneasiness, he was taken to Ramana Rao clinic. Later, he was shifted to Vikram Hospital.The actor's family has reached the hospital as the news broke out.
Doctor treating the actor told reporters that the actor is in critical condition. "Puneeth Rajkumar has suffered cardiac arrest. He is in critical condition, we are trying our best", said the doctor.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai reached the hospital to check on the health of the actor. Also, Bengaluru Police has arranged security outside the hospital to manage as fans have started thronging the hospital premises.
Puneeth is the fifth and youngest child of Sandalwood matinee idol late Dr Rajkumar. The leading actor is known as the fittest person in the Kannada film industry.
