Last week, a man was beaten to death for allegedly trying to remove a religious flag from a gurdwara in Kapurthala district.
The lynching case taking a different turn. According to multiple reports, the Police have mentioned that the deceased was spotted by one of the sewadar (volunteer) in the kitchen located on the ground floor eating chapatis. Notably, only the sewadar and Granthi live on the ground floor of the said Gurudwara, and Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is on the upper floor.
This incident took place after a man was beaten to death after he allegedly tried to desecrate Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of Sikhs, inside the Golden Temple in Amritsar on December 18.
