Raj Kundra sent to Police custody till 23rd July in pornography case
Mumbai: Shilpa Shetty's husband, businessman Raj Kundra, who was arrested on Monday by the crime branch of the Mumbai police, sent to Police custody till 23rd July. He was arrested for allegedly making and distributing porn films through Apps.
The 45-year-old Raj Kundra is the first major arrest in the case registered in February this year. Police have claimed that they have evidence to show that Kundra was the key conspirator in the case. The case was registered after a complaint by a woman who claimed to be a victim of a porn video-making ring.
Raj Kundra has been booked under three Acts; the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act, and the Indecent Representation of Women Act.

Raj Kundra is said to own the App JL Stream and was earlier a part-owner of the IPL team Rajasthan Royals. Shilpa Shetty and Kundra were married in 2009.
