Hyderabad: As SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, RRR, is all set to hit theatres on March 25, the RRR team has announced that the film will be released in Dolby Cinema for overseas viewers, and the makers claim that this is the first-ever Indian movie to be released in Dolby Cinema.
It means that overseas viewers would be able to enjoy the movie in a higher premium format that gives an excellent theatrical experience.
RRR is a period action drama directed by Bahubali director SS Rajamouli. Starring NTR Junior, Ram Charan Teja, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt. The RRR release was delayed due to the COVID pandemic.
As the release date is nearing, the filmmakers have released a 20-second clip of a new song called "Sholay" in Hindi, which will be used during the end credits. The song will be released on March 14. The film has generated lots of curiosity. The filmmakers released the Naatu Naatu song featuring NTR Junior and Ram Charan Teja just before the earlier date of its release, and the dance steps of these two actors created a sensation, and people filmed reels imitating the dance steps of that song.
Rajamouli, who directed blockbuster films like Bahubali: Beginning and Bahubali: Conclusion, Eega, Simhadri, and Magadheera, never tasted defeat in his career. His films always turned into blockbuster hits, and people are anticipating a mega-blockbuster in the form of RRR.
Rajamouli’s favourite, MM Kiravani, scored the music and background music. K. K. Senthil Kumar did the camera work, A. Sreekar Prasad did the editing. Sabu Cyril is the film’s production designer.
DVV Danayya produced the movie. The RRR film was made on a budget of over Rs 450 crore. The film will be released in around 10 languages, including Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and English.
