Sai Dharam Tej condition critical but safe
Hyderabad: Telugu actor Sai Dharma Tej, who met with an accident last night is critical according to doctors treating him.
Tej was on a bike which met with an accident late last night near the Cable Bridge in Hyderabad. He was shifted to the Jubilee Hills Apollo Hospital and was on respiratory support. Early today doctors released a statement saying he had not suffered injuries to the brain or spine and there was a collar bone fracture. But he has to be on observation for 24 hours before any new assessment has to be made.
The sports bike Tej was riding has been damaged in the accident. He became unconscious after the accident and was shifted to the hospital in that condition. The accident occurred at 8 PM according to CCTV footage recorded at the accident site.
Dharma Tej is the nephew of Telugu superstar Chitanjeevi (son of Chiranjeevi's sister Vijaya Durga). He made his debut in 2014 with the film Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham. He has acted in over 10 films so far including the successful Subramanyam for Sale, Chitralahari and Prati Roju Pandage.
His new film Republic is set to release on October 1.
