Salman Khan being paid Rs 350 Crore for Bigg Boss 15
Reportedly Salman Khan is being paid Rs 350 crore for hosting Bigg Boss 15 for a duration of 14 weeks.
This makes him the highest-paid television actor in the world, apart from one of the highest-earning film stars.
Though neither Salman Khan nor the TV channel has never revealed the remuneration numbers, it has been widely speculated for years.
He was reportedly paid Rs 200 crores for Season 13 but took a pay cut for Season 14 due to the pandemic. Reports have claimed that he charged Rs 2.5 crore per episode from Season 4 to Season 6, which doubled to Rs 5 crore per episode from Season 7.
By Season 10, it has reached Rs 8 crore per episode. Now Lets OTT has claimed he is being paid Rs 350 crores for the entire season. Salman Khan appears in two-weekend episodes of the show. Both are shot on the same day. This means he will be working for 14 days for that Rs 350 crores.
In other words, he will be paid Rs.23.3 crores for each day's work. However, those in the show point out that the preparation for the shoot involving the actor requires as much time as the shoot itself.
