Kyiv: Ukraine’s President Voldymyr Zelenskyy has urged Russian President Vladimir Putin for direct talks to him to end the Russian full-scale war on his country. Meanwhile, Zelenskyy urged the West to increase military aid to his country to fight against Russian invasion.
He also warned the west that Russia may proceed with other European countries if Putin’s military offensive succeeds.
However, the second round of peace talks between the two countries ended without any fruitful results. Ukraine insisted immediate ceasefire, but Russia refused for a ceasefire and insisted Ukraine let down its arms and surrender.

“I need to talk to Putin. The world needs to talk to Putin. There is no other way to stop this war.”, Zelenskyy said.
“What do you want from us? Leave our land.” “Sit down with me, just not 30 metres away”, he added,
Putin has announced a full-scale war on Ukraine last week. The war has entered 9 days. He described Ukrainian forces as neo-Nazis and stated that war is inevitable for Russia to protect its identity.
Russian forces have already encroached on the second-biggest city of Kharkiv in the east and port cities of Kherson and Mariupol in the South.
Zelenskyy on Thursday once again appealed to Western leaders to impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine, something the United States has previously dismissed, saying such a move could draw it into a direct conflict with Russia, Al Jazeera reported.
