Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency of Varanasi will also go for voting tomorrow, all the political parties have made their best efforts to woo the voters.

Lucknow: The final and seventh phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election will be held tomorrow. Mau, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Badohi, Sonbhadra, Varanasi, and Azamgarh districts will go to the polls in the final phase.

As many as 54 Assembly constituencies will go to polling tomorrow. A total of 613 candidates' fates will be decided by the 2.06 crore voters in this phase of voting. The counting of the votes will be conducted on March 10. Voting for 349 Assembly seats out of a total of 403 seats was completed in the six phases.

The election commission has banned the broadcasting of exit poll results till the conclusion of voting. Around 7 pm, the exit polls will be released. The opinion poll, which was released before the announcement of the election, had predicted an edge for the BJP.

Ajay Kumar Shukla, Chief Electoral Officer, stated that all required arrangements have been made for free, fair, and transparent voting in the seventh phase. The voting will take place under the COVID-19 standards, and COVID patients will be eligible to vote during the final hour of polling.
