Ukraine- Russia War: Ten Russian soldiers captured by Ukraine

Kyiv: Ten Russian soldiers have been taken captive by the Ukrainian forces. Ukraine claimed that the Russians suffered heavy losses in manpower and equipment in Shchastya, Luhansk Region, and was forced to retreat.

Fighting continues in many areas in the east as the Russian military attempts to breach Ukrainian defences, Kyiv post reported.
Ukraine’s foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba said that ‘horrific’ Russian rocket strikes on Kyiv. Russian airstrikes hit main defence infrastructure facilities including its airbase.
Mr. Kuleba tweeted that “Last time our capital experienced anything like this was in 1941 when it was attacked by Nazi Germany. Ukraine defeated that evil and will defeat this one. Stop Putin. Isolate Russia. Severe all ties. Kick Russia out of everywhere”, he said.

Russia has corned its neighbouring Ukraine from land, air and naval forces. On Friday night Russian bombardment continued across Ukrainian cities.
There were several reports about explosions heard around Kyiv. Details were murky in the fast-developing situation, often with conflicting accounts.
Earlier, Republican Sen. Marco Rubio said it “appeared at least three dozen missiles have been fired” at the Kyiv area within a 40-minute window.
