US Immigration Attorneys Issue Travel Risk Advisory For Indian Green Card, H-1B Holders
For the last few weeks, the rules of US immigration have been tightened significantly, prompting immigration attorneys to issue travel risk advisories for Indian Green Card, F-1 and H-1B holders.
The advisory comes after the Trump administration’s plans to limit travel for people from 43 nations, including Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bhutan. While India is not on any planned travel ban lists, Attorneys claim that travellers are nonetheless subject to more stringent security inspections, backlog in visa stamping, and even detention at US airports.
