11 killed as cruiser collides with truck near Rajasthan's Nagaur

Nagaur: At least 11 people were killed after a cruiser collided with a truck in Nagaur on Tuesday. Seven others were seriously injured and were shifted to a hospital in Nokha, Bikaner. 

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced ex-gratia assistance of Rs 2 lakhs each to the kin of 11 persons from Ujjain who died in the accident. Chouhan assured that the state government would bear the entire cost of treatment for the injured.

Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the loss of lives in a road accident at Nagaur, Rajasthan.

In a tweet, PM Modi, said, "I am saddened to know about the horrific road accident in Nagaur, Rajasthan. I express my condolences to the families of all those who have lost their lives in this accident. Also, I wish the injured a speedy recovery".

PM Modi has approved an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakhs each from PMNRF for the next of kin of those who lost their lives due to the accident. The injured would be given Rs 50,000.
