Centre asks states to set up COVID control rooms
The last 24 hours saw a total of 14,13,030 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 68.53 Cr (68,53,05,751) cumulative tests.
New Delhi: Centre directed states to ensure setting up of district, sub-district control rooms for COVID management with adequate staff, doctors, infrastructure, monitoring of beds availability, making outbound calls to patients in home isolation.
90,928 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. India’s Active Caseload is presently at2,85,401. Active cases constitute 0.81% of the country's total Positive Cases.
The testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded. The last 24 hours saw a total of 14,13,030 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 68.53 Cr (68,53,05,751) cumulative tests.
While testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, Weekly Positivity Rate in the country currently stands at 3.47 per cent and the Daily Positivity rate is also reported to be 6.43 per cent.
