Complete lockdown on July 24 &25 in Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Government has imposed a complete lockdown on 24th and 25th July 2021 (Saturday and Sunday) with the same guidelines as issued for 12th and 13th June 2021.
All roads, except for an entry and exit road, leading to the capital will be shut. Grocery stores, banks, medical stores, hospitals and other essential services, will be allowed. But all other non-essential services will be shut.

The Health and Family Welfare Department is directed to conduct a mass testing campaign on Friday, 23rd July 2021. The target of 3 lakh tests set across Kerala focuses on Districts where the seven-day average Test Positivity Rate (TPR) is above 10 per cent.
District Collectors are directed to identify and demarcate micro-containment zones in all districts, regardless of the categorization of the LSGI regions, and enforce special intensified stringent restrictions so as to bring down the new cases at the earliest.
