Congress promises 40 % jobs to women in Uttarakhand

Dehradun: Congress has released a manifesto for Uttarakhand promising 40 percent jobs for women in the police department and creating four jobs in five years.
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has released a manifesto titled Uttarakhand Swabhiman Pratigya Patra, promising to give 40% jobs for women and create a tourism police force.
The government has also promised to cap the LPG cylinder price at Rs. 500 with government subsidy. Congress has alleged that the ruling BJP government did nothing in five years because they did not have the intention to do developmental works in the state, said Priyanka Gandhi.
