COVID-19 UPDATE: 1,778 new cases recorded in last 24 hours
More than 16.97 Cr (16,97,30,191) balance and unutilized COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the States/UTs to be administered.
New Delhi: India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 181.89 Cr (1,81,89,15,234) as per provisional reports till 7 am on Wednesday. This has been achieved through 2,14,87,809 sessions.
COVID-19 vaccination for the age group 12-14 years was started on 16 March 2022. So far, more than 52 lakh (52,10,775) adolescents have been administered the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
More than 184.03 crores (1,84,03,90,980) vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far through Govt. of India (free of cost channel) and through the direct state procurement category.
