COVID-19 UPDATE: 26,115 new cases reported last 24 hours
New Delhi: India reported 26,115 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours, as per the bulletin by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
- 81.85 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive
- Active cases account for less than 1 per cent of total cases, currently at 0.92 per cent; lowest since March 2020
- India's Active caseload stands at 3,09,575; the lowest in 184 days
- 26,115 new cases in the last 24 hours
- Recovery Rate currently at 97.75 per cent; Highest since March 2020
- 34,469 recoveries in the last 24 hours increase Total Recoveries to 3,27,49,574
- Weekly Positivity Rate (2.08 per cent) less than 3 per cent for last 88 days
- Daily positivity rate (1.85 per cent) less than 3 per cent for last 22 days
- 55.50 cr Total Tests conducted so far
More than 79.74crore(79,74,26,335) vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far through the Government of India (free of cost channel) and the direct state procurement category. Further, 33Lakh doses (33,00,000) are in the pipeline.
More than 5.34Cr (5,34,54,640)balance and unutilized COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the States/UTs to be administered.
