Karnataka: CET results declared, counselling starts in October
Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced results for Common Entrance Test (CET), H.Meghana and Premkumar obtained first and second rank respectively.
B.S.Anirudh obtained the third rank. Total 183231 students are eligible for Engineering seats, 152518 students for Agricultural Sciences, 155760 students for Veterinary science, 155910 students for Yoga and Naturopathy and 186638 students have eligible for Pharma courses.
Addressing media persons, Higher Education Minister Dr. Ashwathnarayan said, results are published in KEA website- https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea
Total 2,01,834 candidates had registered for KCET-2021, in which 70,888 boys and 85022 girls had appeared for the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) exam while 90,601 boys and 92630 girls had appeared for the engineering entrance exam this year, Mr. Ashwathnarayan added.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) held CET on September 20. Document verification will begin on September 30 and the counselling process will commence in October 2021, the Minister said.
CET 2021 was held at 86 centres located in the city of Bengaluru and 444 centres outside Bengaluru.
