COVID-19 UPDATE: 26,727 new cases in last 24 hours
With the administration of 64,40,451 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage crossed the landmark of 89 Cr (89,02,08,007) as per provisional reports till 7 am on Friday.
New Delhi: With the administration of 64,40,451 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage crossed the landmark of 89 Cr (89,02,08,007) as per provisional reports till 7 am on Friday. This has been achieved through 86,46,674 sessions, as per the latest bulletin by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
More than 87.25crore (87,25,58,985) vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far through Govt of India (free of cost channel) and through direct state procurement category.
More than 5Cr (5,00,47,650) balance and unutilized COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the States/UTs to be administered.
- 89.02 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive
- Active cases account for less than 1 per cent of total cases, currently at 0.82 per cent; Lowest since March 2020
- India's Active caseload stands at 2,75,224; lowest in 196 days
- Recovery Rate currently at 97.86 per cent; Highest since March 2020
- 28,246 recoveries in the last 24 hours increases Total Recoveries to 3,30,43,144
- Weekly Positivity Rate (1.70 per cent) less than 3 per cent for last 98 days
- Daily positivity rate (1.76 per cent) less than 3 per cent for last 32 days
