COVID-19 UPDATE: 35,499 new cases reported in last 24 hours
New Delhi: India reported 35,499 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours as per the latest update by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
COVID-19 vaccination coverage in the country has exceeded 50.86 Cr. Cumulatively, 50,86,64,759 vaccine doses have been administered through 58,79,068 sessions, as per the provisional report, till 7 am today. Also, 16,11,590 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.

Recovery Rate currently at 97.40 per cent
39,686 patients recovered during the last 24 hours
India's Active caseload is currently 4,02,188
Active cases constitute 1.26 per cent of total cases
Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5 per cent, currently at 2.35 per cent
Daily positivity rate at 2.59 per cent; less than 3 per cent for last 14 days
Testing capacity substantially ramped up – 48.17 crore tests total conducted.
