COVID-19 UPDATE: Vaccination coverage exceeds 56.64 crores
New Delhi: India reported 36,401 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Total 56,36,336 vaccine doses were administered over the previous 24 hours, according to the latest bulletin by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The COVID-19 vaccination coverage has surpassed the figure of 56,64,88,433 on Wednesday. The feat has been achieved through 63,13,210 sessions.
Active cases account for 1.13 per cent of total cases; the lowest since March 2020
India's Active caseload stands at 3,64,129; lowest in 149 days
Recovery Rate increases to 97.53 per cent; this is the highest since March 2020
39,157 recoveries in the last 24 hours increase Total Recoveries to 3,15,25,080
Weekly Positivity Rate (1.95 per cent) is less than 3 per cent for last 55 days
Daily positivity rate (1.94 per cent) is less than 3 per cent for last 24 days
