COVID-19 UPDATE: Vaccine coverage surpasses 70.75 crores
New Delhi: With the administration of 78,47,625 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, the country’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage surpassed the cumulative figure of 70.75 Cr (70,75,43,018) as per provisional reports till 7 am on Wednesday. This has been achieved through 72, 81,305sessions.
- 70.75 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive
- 37,875 new cases in the last 24 hours
- Active cases account for 1.18 per cent of total cases
- India's Active caseload stands at 3,91,256
- Recovery Rate currently at 97.48 per cent
- 39,114recoveries in the last 24 hours increases Total Recoveries to 3,22,64,051
- Weekly Positivity Rate (2.49per cent) less than 3 per cent for last 75 days
- The daily positivity rate reported to be 2.16 per cent less than 3 per cent for the last 9 days
