Opposition parties have alleged that the Modi led BJP government being misusing ED, CBI to settle the score against opposition parties. Now BJP MP has endorsed the allegations of opposition leaders

ED will not raid BJP MP's  house, said BJP MP of Sangli     

Sangli: Endorsing the allegation of the opposition parties of Centre misusing ED and CBI against its opponents, the BJP MP of Sangli Lok Sabha constituency Sanjay Patil said that Enforcement Directorate (ED) will not come after him as he is a BJP MP.

Speaking during a fuction in his Lok Sabha constituency,  Mr. Patil said that “ the ED wont come after me since I am a BJP MP” he said, his remarks made ruling BJP embarrassed.

He was not first BJP MP making such statement, earlier this month, his party colleague Harshvardhan Patil said same statement. After his joining to BJP from Congress, he said that he was getting sound sleep there are no enquiries against him after he quit the Congress.

Recently Harashavardhan Patil said that he has no other option to join bjp. He further said that after his joining to saffron party he has no worry about enquiries and raids and having sound sleep, PTI reported.

Later Mr. Patil, MP of Sangli has clarified that his statement was misinterpreted. "I made a statement while I had gone to Maval for a hotel inauguration day before yesterday. That statement is being misinterpreted, which is why I am here to give clarification," he told the media. Now Mr Patil said he joined the BJP because he was denied a ticket that was promised to him.
