Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said flowers will be showered on devotees of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna instead of bullets when 'kar sewa' would happen next time.
Ayodhya: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said flowers will be showered on devotees of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna instead of bullets when 'kar sewa' would happen next time. The chief minister was addressing an event of Deepotsava celebrations in Ayodhya.
CM Yogi Adityanath said, "31 years ago, bullets were fired at Rambhakts and Karsewaks in Ayodhya. Chanting Jai Shri Ram and voicing support for Ram Temple were considered a crime. But it is power of the people and democracy that those who ordered firing on Rambhakts today bow to your power".
"Today it appears that if you continue like this, they and their entire family will line up for the next Karsewa. When next Karsewa would happen, not bullets but flowers will be showered on devotees of Lord Rama & Lord Krishna. This is the power of democracy".
"When 'kar sewa' would happen next time, not bullets but flowers will be showered on devotees of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna," said CM Yogi Adityanath at the event Deepotsava celebrations in Ayodhya.
The chief minister claimed that this year in the Deepotsava programme in Ayodhya 9 lakh diyas (earthen lamps) will be lit. This 9 lakh represents houses where people started residing, under PM Awas Yojana Urban.
