Former CM BS Yediyurappa's granddaughter dies by suicide, Bowring Hospital hands over body to family
Soundarya is the daughter of Padmavati, Yediyurappa's younger daughter.
Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa's granddaughter reportedly died by suicide at an apartment in Bengaluru on Friday.
Soundarya (30) was a doctor by profession. The deceased's body has been brought to Bowring hospital.
Soundarya is the daughter of Padmavati, Yediyurappa's younger daughter. Soundarya was married to Dr Neeraj in 2018. Both Soundarya and Dr Neeraj work in MS Ramaiah hopsital.
She is survived by her husband Dr Neeraj and 9-month-old baby.
According to initial reports, Soundarya was found hanging inside an apartment located near Mount Carmel College, Vasanth Nagar, in the Central Business District of Bengaluru.
"We have conducted the postmortem, we will hand over the report," said Dr Satish, HOD Forensic dept, Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital.
A case has been filed in the High Grounds Polise Station. Cremation will be held in Abbigere, North Bengaluru.
