Good news! Govt decides to pass II PU repeaters this year
Bengaluru: The Karnataka government on Monday decided to pass all PU repeaters. These are candidates who had failed to clear the II PU board examination in the past.
In its submission to the Karnataka High Court, the government said all repeaters will be given a passing mark of 35 per cent.
Last month, the State government had announced that repeaters and private candidates would have to sit for an exam after the COVID-19 situation eased. However, the rule was under review, but only for repeaters.
Hence, parents of repeaters and students had filed petitions against the government decision. Around 76,000 candidates had registered as repeaters for the 2021 examination.
