‘Grandson of MLA’ sticker on expensive bike triggers controversy in Tamil Nadu

In the Tamil Nadu state assembly elections, the BJP gained four seats in an alliance with the AIADMK. Chennai: A photo of a young man riding an expensive bike with a number plate reading 'Grandson of Nagercoil MLA MR Gandhi' has triggered controversy.

Who is Nagercoil MLA?
BJP MR Gandhi is the MLA from Nagercoil in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu. Mr Gandhi lost six MLA elections in a row and finally won form Nagercoil seat in 2021. According to the reports, Gandhi is a bachelor, a simple man who always wears a Khadi dress and roam without wearing footwear.  So the question arises if he is an unmarried man then who is the alleged grandson.?

It is said that he is the son of Gandhi’s driver Kannan, and he was reportedly roaming on his bike with the alleged sticker. 

Gandhi has a special affection for his driver Kannan, who has been with him for many years and was with him during his tough time, and he is now close aid of the MLA.

Kannan's son, Amrish, has the same feelings for the MLA, according to reports, and social media users have chastised him for not taking action against him.

According to one social media user, "This young man is the grandson of a BJP MLA from Nagercoil. Take a look at his number plate! It says "Grandson of Nagercoil MLA Shri MR Gandhi" on it! If it hadn't been for the number plate of a shaman cart, the law would have done its job by now, but is the law staying quiet because he is the grandson of a BJP MLA?"
